Fira de Mollerussa (Mollerusa Trade Center) was opened in 1985, the town has an historicall tradition, celebrating on 2009 for instance, the CXXXVI (136°) edition of “Fira de Sant Josep”** (Saint Joseph TradeShow) is considered the Agricultural Machinery Catalan Trade Show, since 1872.
On 1997 the venue of Fira de Mollerussa was reformed, modernizing its infrastructures and enlarging it with a second covered Pavillion, currently the venue has 71.000sq.m for exhibitions, 7.000sq.m are covered. Additionally, it completes its exhibiting offer with the required infrastructure to host Congresses, Conventions and Trade Shows parallel to exhibitions.
Trade Shows activity at Fira de Mollerussa has growth during the past 20 years becoming a strong point of local economy and a regional reference (it is 30 Km away from Lérida and 160 from Barcelona).
