5th edition of Pro Am Salón Náutico
The clinics, from the 6th to the 10th of November
Next October we go on boarding in a new adventure… The 45th Edition of Barcelona International Boat Show receives one more year Pro Am de Vela, one of the most outstanding activities of the Fair. This sport and social event does not go merely beyond the nautical thing, as it tries to socialize a sport that, a priori, is known and enjoyed just for few.
Pro Am Salón Náutico comes back in its 5th Edition during the first week of November (from the 4th to the 10th). After the great success of the four previous editions already celebrated, Pro Am wants to offer again the possibility of enjoying sailing, as much to experts as to amateurs, in an incomparable environment.
As usual, Pro Am consists of 2 parts. The first one, more mediatic, is the two days regatta which are playing 7 equal sailboats during the 4th and 5th of November (the fist weekend of the month and the Fair). Following the previous years’ guidelines, the regatta will once again count on amateur participation (represented by famous celebrities and personalities apart from the sailing world) and on weighty professional yachtsmen who will be the commanders of each boat competing in the Pro Am 2006.
The second part is specially focussed on general audience, to whom Pro Am keeps on approaching the learning of this sport through the clinics: theoretical and practical classes for all those who want to embark in a unique and exclusive adventure over Barcelona’s waters. Classes will be held during the week from the 6th to the 10th of November.
Once again, the appointment will take place in Muelle de España (Barcelona), between the 4th and the 10th of November.
This is a new opportunity to sail, learn and have lot of fun!
