Habitat Valencia Forward works during the whole of the year to create the largest international habitat showcase of all kinds of furniture and interiors, materials, accessories, electronics, electrical appliances, bathroom, kitchen, domotics.
With that purpose in mind, it has prepared an ambitious promotional plan aimed at increasing the number of international exhibitors and visitors attending the fair. To date, the new umbrella habitat project has already been presented in Bulgaria, Hungary, Cologne, Paris, Treviso, Milan and recently in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Commercial missions have also been planned for Saint Petersburg, Moscow, the Baltic Republics and other Eastern European countries. For these activities, we are counting on the active collaboration of ICEX (Spanish Institute), ANIEME (Spanish Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters) and FEDAI (Spanish Federation of Associations of Lighting Fixtures Manufacturers and Exporters). Besides, Habitat Valencia Forward also attended prestigious international trade events, and has invited more than 1500 guest professionals from 75 countries. According to data for the last edition, 26% of exhibitors at FIM, DE>CO and FIAM came from outside Spain: 36.17% of these came from Italy, 25.89% from Portugal and 10.28% from France. Also noteworthy was the attendance of exhibitors from other countries, including Germany, UK, Brazil, Romania, Poland, Morocco, Mexico, Belgium and Holland. Also highly satisfactory was the number and quality of international trade visitors in 2005. Of the nearly 80,000 professionals attending the fair, over 11,000 (around 15% of the total) came from 112 countries on the five continents. The figures confirm the strong international profile of the event, and reinforce the decision to present Habitat Valencia Forward in cities around the world.
