Flying colours for Habitat Valencia Forward

A survey following the event shows the high level of satisfaction of visitors to Habitat Valencia Forward

Nine out of ten visitors to Habitat Valencia Forward last September confirmed their intention to return again in 2007. And eight out of ten said that they were satisfied with the results of their contacts at the fair. These are some of the conclusions from a survey into visitors impressions carried out after the fair.
  
  The market research was outsourced to an independent consultants who carried out their study one month after the conclusion of Habitat Valencia Forward. The fair passed with flying colours its debut as an umbrella event for FIM (International Furniture Fair), DE>CO (International Decoration and Accessories Fair) and FIAM (International Fair of Lighting Fixtures). Over 75% of visitors approved of the new name and organisation.

The recent edition of the new project, which closed its doors last 23rd September, registered over 80,000 professional visits from all the various players in the sector. According to the results of the survey, 89.5% of visitors intend to return to the 2007 edition of Habitat Valencia Forward, scheduled for 24th through 29th September, 71.2% with total security and 18.3% highly probable. In fact, up to 79.8% of all visitors had already been to FIM, FIAM and DE>CO in Valencia on previous occasions.

The vast majority of visitors (81,5%) were satisfied with the results of their visit to the fair. Over half of trade professionals visiting Habitat Valencia Forward closed up to 25% of their annual business, while for 12.7% of visitors this figure rose to over 50%.

The sections of greatest interest for visitors to Habitat Valencia Forward were modern furniture (60.9%), classical furniture and avant-garde (31.9% each) and rustic-garden furniture (25.8%) followed by modern lighting (23.6%) and high décor (18.8%).

As the study proves, all the different agents in the sector were well represented at the event, 42.1% were from retail outlets, followed by manufacturers, sales agents, interior designers and decorators, wholesalers, suppliers, purchasing groups and importers.
