We had the pleasure of welcoming 418 companies and brands to this show (compared with 367 in January 2005).
43% of these were foreign companies from 25 different countries, and a total of over 15,400 m² of exhibition space were occupied. While the visitors pre-registration was showing an increase of 20.55% vs January 2005 (+5.3% for France and +72.8% for international), Eclat de Mode registered a stability in the numbers of visitors ; 10,756 buyers effectively came to the show (335 visitors lost compared with January 2005), with a very quiet Saturday. This may be explained by several factors: change in the days of opening (from Thursday through Sunday), in the dates (a week later), that marked precisely the beginning of winter holidays in some France regions. Nevertheless, the quality of the show and of the offer presented were appreciated by both visitors and journalists. The regions from which most visitors came: Provence, Alpes, Côte d Azur (PACA) Rhône Alpes Loire region North Aquitaine Brittany Normandy Languedoc Midi-Pyrénées Center 32.46% of the visitors were foreign, coming from 84 countries, including: 1. Italy 2. Belgium 3. Spain 4. United Kingdom 5. Greece 6. USA 7. Germany equal to the Netherlands 8. Japan 9. Switzerland 10. Portugal We notice an increase of visitors coming from Italy (+5%), Belgium (+5%) and the USA (+6%), as well as a remarkable growth for Middle East countries (+23%) and South America (+38%).
