IQC, Quesos Rocinante and its traditional cheeses line in Anuga 2009. Quesos Rocinante is focused in pastry cheeses. Its Master Piece is the always prized "Manchego DO Maese Miguel" well known worlwide. The same occurs with other of their cheese products which are presented in different packagings and distributed to the world. Rocinante and Maese Miguel cheeses are not only consumed at Spain, but also abroad, the company makes a big effort in the broadcasting of the "Ciudad Real and Castilla la Mancha" cities and its traditions, in other countries. In spite of being Spain far from the main cheese consumers of Europe with 10 kg per far from the 25 of France or the 28 of Greece, the market is growing up. Quesos Rocinante is proud of honoured their very first Cheese Masters and keep their traditional flavours, but it also takes advantage of the latest technologies. Its most popular product is Maese Miguel, the authentic Manchego cheese controlled by the "Manchego Cheese Regulation Council" and made only from manchego sheeps registered at the Council. Quesos Rocinante has been pioneer in getting the most important official quality certifications: in 1996 it was the first cheese industry in getting the ISO 9001 Quality Certification, under the current norms and later, it added the ISO 9001 Environmental Rules, both backed by AENOR. Besides, from 2007, it has the BCR - British Retail Consortium, for food, to ensure the strict rules that are fulfilled by the company to guarantee its healthy products. The elaboration of traditional cheese is not opposite to imagination, It is important to offer the traditional Manchego Cheese, but also the innovative gourmet cheeses to mark a difference.
