The brand Lise Lindvig will be presenting for the first time at the fair Bread and Butter Barcelona.
Lise started designing shoes in the summer of 2006. Her first 2 collections were designed under the name of UMA.
The Danish designer, based in Copenhagen, let’s the fantasy of her shoe dreams come true. Her love for mixing materials and “making feet happy” has given the brand success in very short time.
Lise designs all the styles herself. She makes sketches and drafts, and the leather and textile are thereafter chosen specifically for each product.
Especially the materials are characteristic for a Lise Lindvig product. She loves to mix materials in order to end up with a unique expression – it can be all from silk to canvas which will be combined with soft leather materials – unique beautiful details.
Lise made the choice to use her own name, this not only emphasises the Danish design, but also that Lise is a proud designer who is using her own name as a quality stamp.
Inspiration:
Her inspiration is life – the things she sees on her journeys through the cities of Europe and also the 4 times per year she visits Asia, where the shoes also are being produced. The combination of Europe and Asia gives her the ideas and inspiration which she brings back home to Denmark. She thereafter combines it all with her Danish touch and by that reaching both the European and world wide demands for a perfect design.
