COMPANY PROFILE


LECERF is a family owned company leading in the design and manufacturing of leather accessories.

It began at the early 80’s when Mr. Frederic UBINYANA established LECERF in 1982 after a decade trading in the leather goods sector, which is of great tradition in our country. Its headquarter is placed in SEVA (Barcelona), a well known region by its tanning Industry.

The beginnings were slow and difficult but they gave us the enough experience to build up our own brand, known today by its excellent quality and finish of the products. This has only been possible thanks to our customer needs and requests which we have always faced as an improvement to achieve.

LECERF started with the manufacturing of small leather accessories as wallets and so on. Later on, we expanded the range of products offered and nowadays LECERF manufactures very large collections including wallets, purses, briefcases & travel items, jewel cases and desk accessories, all of them handcrafted with the best leathers. Furthermore every season are presented new collections using different leathers and colours, as well as materials or accessories in fashion.

In Spain, LECERF is distributed among the best specialised leather retailers and also department stores as El Corte Ingles.

It was in 1992 when LECERF established its own EXPORTS division after doing some spot exports to some countries. Today LECERF is present in more than 35 countries and the exports represent more than 50% of the total sales. LECERF manufactures also for several international brand names as well as for commercial or distribution companies with their own trademark



In 1998, we created a differentiated section for the production of leather smoker’s accessories and at the present we manufacture the widest collection available on the market of leather cigar cases offering a cigar case for every single size of cigar. This enable LECERF to become a reputable brand into this particular sector, and furthermore we produce for other brand names or licensees as are Real Madrid football team, RONSON, and other important brands for whom we respect their wish of anonymity.

With the experience of having produced items for several brands or companies, meeting their particular needs, we lastly created a department involved with the promotional items and business/corporate gift.
In this sense, we produce special models for other firms, or even new ones adapted to each individual request.

LECERF became also member of the Spanish Association of Leather goods Manufacturers, as well as the Association of Leather goods Exporters, with whom participates in all activities made in new foreign markets. Out of these activities coordinated with the Association, LECERF is present at the following Fairs:

MIPEL (Milan), I.F.F and PROMOPEL (Tokyo), AMBIENTE (Frankfurt), INTERTABAC (Dortmund), and GLOBAL LOOK (Barcelona).
