Bodegas Félix Callejo is located in the heart of Ribera del Duero DO region at Sotillo de la Ribera.

The winery specializes in the elaboration of Tempranillo or Tinta Fina variety wines.

The wines produced are:

• Selección de Viñedos
• Callejo Gran Reserva
• Callejo Reserva
• Callejo Reserva Magnum
• Callejo Crianza
• For months in barrel

Bodegas Félix Callejo was created in 1989 as a result of long family tradition; the cultivated vineyards have a 100 hectares extension and 40 years of history.

The textured dark and limy soil in conjunction with the characteristic microclimate of the region provide the suitable conditions for the growth and development of grapevines.

The harvest period is performed in approx 15 days in the month of October; it is the first step in the wine production process.

Several selections are carried out; the first selection is at the vineyards.

Grapes are transported to the winery in boxes after it manual recollection.

The second selection process is performed at the grapes reception place, by means of a grape selection belt.

And a third selection procedure performed once the grapes are clean on a vibrating table intended for fruit selection. Afterwards, grapes are taken to the winery where they will be stored in stainless steel warehouses for fermentation.

The different fermentation and stand periods in barrels of the wines, followed by bottling and storage at the winery, provide Bodega Callejo`s wines with its high quality features.
